A Visual Brand Story film for Joanna Bongard, wedding photographer
I met Joanna, through the London Wedding Breakfast Club, when she heard that I was offering branding film, she was interested in creating a short film for her brand that would not only invite her ideal audience to connect but also give them an insight of what to expect working with her.
Our first meeting for this project gave us an opportunity to set the goal for this film; Joanna wanted to show the colourful and creative London side she sets her wedding photography in and show some behind the scènes with a couple during a pre-wedding shoot. We talked about her interview, the guidelines and the props she wanted to use. The ideas for the film were finalised on a mood board.
On the day of the shoot we started filming the testimonials to put the couple who accepted to be featured in the film at ease. We wanted them feeling relaxed and enjoy the outdoor scenes featuring their engagement shoot; with a lot of fun added to the mix. We moved to Joanna's house to film her interview.
After the filming comes the most critical element in the process, the editing, this is where I edit and choose the most relevant footages to create a compelling visual and engaging story for her audience.
The preparation work; the filming and editing all came beautifully together to create a unique film for Joanna's brand.
It was key for her to have a film that would invite her ideal audience wanting to know about her and how she could help them. But also showing her warm personality and how fun her photoshoot are and how she puts the couples she photographs at ease.
